the room included a nespresso machine and tea making facilities, very useful. i like the bathroom, it has two separate sinks. the shower includes a rainfall showerhead, very relaxing. the air conditioning worked very well, it kept the room at a comfortable temperature.

The attached italian restaurant serafina is a nice option for a meal. the hotel bar had unique choices for cocktails. The espresso martini stood out. live jazz music played, it created a wonderful ambience.

Grand central station is close. The hotel is walkable to everywhere in midtown. the building allows you to see the empire state building. it is right in the heart of the district. Many attractions are nearby.

the hotel provided daily housekeeping. i also appreciated the complimentary water.. a full liter was available each day, and i could request more.
the air conditioning was a concern for me. it seemed to be stuck at 25°c, and the staff could not repair it nor could they offer me a new room. arranging a late checkout wasn't possible until the morning of my departure, not beforehand.
